Fetched £32,000 when resold this year. Closely-related to Pearl Glory (placed in Group company as a 2-y-o) and he's well worth a second look in the betting.

Foaled March 15. £16,000 yearling, Belardo colt. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Mujadil Lachy. Yard can ready one first time out and he's one to consider, particularly if the market vibes are positive.

Twice-raced maiden. 4/1, last of 6 in minor event at Bath (5f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and will surely need to improve to win this.

Promising type. 16/1, third of 13 in minor event at this C&D (good to firm) on debut 14 days ago. Yard's newcomers usually better for a run and this filly has to be high on the shortlist.

Foaled April 26. Sixties Icon filly. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to useful 1¼m-1½m winner Frenzified. Yard's 2-y-os have, generally speaking, not been especially forward in the early stages of this season.

Raducanu (5/2), Dhariye (4/1), Guiteau (5/1), Dresden Green (11/2), Priors Dell (15/2), Tuddenham Mill (9/1), Skysail (14/1), Fullforward (18/1), Bellazzo (20/1), Sixties Chic (25/1), Amberdaay (40/1), Drum Brae Boy (125/1)

Verdict

David Loughnane's 2-y-os have made a bright start to the season and GUITEAU could be another winning youngster for the yard. He is closely-related to Pearl Glory, who won twice as a juvenile last season (also runner-up in a Group 3), and an entry in the Weatherbys Super Sprint suggests that he's been showing up well at home. Raducanu made a promising start to her career over C&D a fortnight ago and she is the clear pick of those with experience. Dresden Green and Dhariye are others to note.
