Complementary¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: M Harley| T: J & T Gosden

80/1

16/1, last of 7 in maiden at this course (1¼m, good) on debut 15 days ago. Atlantis has to be considered the yard first string unless the betting strongly hints otherwise.

Form: 7

Golden Glance²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: J Mitchell| T: S & E Crisford

17/2

5/2, ran to a fair level when third of 7 in novice at Wolverhampton (1½m) on debut 25 days ago, slowly away. Open to improvement.

Form: 3

(5)

Pawapuri¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: A Kirby| T: W J Haggas

9/2

Golden Horn filly who stepped up a little on her debut when staying-on fourth of 7 in 1¼m course maiden 15 days ago. The step up in trip this afternoon looks sure to play to her strengths.

Form: 84

Princesse D'Or¹⁸⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: James Doyle| T: C Appleby

15/8

Cost 2,000,000 gns as a yearling. Disappointed when down the field on 1m Kempton debut last November but she's surely better than that. Steps up markedly in trip on return.

Form: 0-

(6)

Tequilamockingbird²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: David Egan| T: C Fellowes

14/1

Hasn shown ability in 2 outings 6 months apart but she'll need to step up a bit if she's to get off the mark at the third time of asking.

Form: 5-7

(2)

Time Lock²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: S M Levey| T: H & R Charlton

11/1

Didn't shape with any obvious encouragement when down the field on her Sandown debut last month but she's by Frankel and out of a winning sister to the high-class Time Test so she's certainly bred to do better.

Forecasts

Atlantis (15/8), Princesse D'Or (15/8), Pawapuri (9/2), Golden Glance (17/2), Time Lock (11/1), Tequilamockingbird (14/1), Complementary (80/1)

The extra yardage should very much play to the strengths of PAWAPURI who is selected to make it third time lucky. Atlantis showed promise amidst greenness on her Newbury debut and looks the chief threat ahead of Princess d'Or, who is surely better than she showed on debut.
