Promising type. 8/11, third of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (10f, good to soft) on debut 28 days ago. Stable is flying and he's seemingly the choice of Ryan Moore, so he can open his account at the second attempt.

Forecasts
Waterville (4/5), First Emperor (6/1), Como Park (8/1), Gulliver's Travels (8/1), Fleet Commander (11/1), Fumata (12/1), Carlton Gardens (18/1), Fourofakind (28/1), Mercury Mission (40/1), War Correspondent (125/1), Captain Hornblower (150/1)
Having been sent off at odds on for his debut, WATERVILLE shaped with plenty of encouragement in a Curragh maiden a month ago so, with Ryan Moore up, he gets the nod ahead of his very expensive stablemate Gulliver's Travels, who looks the clear pick of the newcomers. First Emperor is also considered in what has the makings of a really strong maiden.
