Verdict

Having been sent off at odds on for his debut, WATERVILLE shaped with plenty of encouragement in a Curragh maiden a month ago so, with Ryan Moore up, he gets the nod ahead of his very expensive stablemate Gulliver's Travels, who looks the clear pick of the newcomers. First Emperor is also considered in what has the makings of a really strong maiden.
