Confirmed debut promise when accounting for 12 rivals in 5f listed contest at York in last May. Limitations seemingly exposed in Group company since but she's landed the plum draw for this handicap debut/reappearance.

Useful juvenile (third in Coventry at Royal Ascot) but ended last season with a couple of below-par efforts. Shaped as if needing the run when tenth on reappearance at Newmarket 3 weeks ago and he should be much closer to form here.
Useful/progressive handicapper who boasts an excellent strike rate (4 wins from last 5 starts), latest in 6-runner event at Goodwood (5f) 4 days ago, edging ahead close home. Carries penalty and must have a major chance provided this doesn't come too soon.
Debut Wolverhampton winner back in August who showed much improved form to double his tally at Sandown 12 days ago, dominating from the front and readily going clear once asked. Clearly going the right way and an 8 lb rise may not be enough to anchor him.
C&D winner at this meeting last year who looked back to his best when runner-up at Wolverhampton on penultimate start. Not so good back on the turf at Thirsk since and needs to bounce back if he is to feature.
Made it 2 from 2 for his new yard in a matter of days at Kempton in March and shaped as if still in good form when finishing a running-on fourth at Lingfield 19 days ago, the race not going ideally for him (met trouble). Stall 6 not ideal but should continue to give a good account.

LIVE IN THE DREAM showed much improved form when bolting up at Sandown 12 days ago, able to dominate and putting things to bed in a matter of strides once asked. He's been hit with an 8 lb rise by the handicapper but is clearly heading the right way and, with the services of Ryan Moore to boot, he gets the verdict to follow up. Shamlaan is in the form of his life at present (4 wins from last 5 starts) so he shades the vote for second over Resilience.
