Smart C&D winner. 2/1, respectable 3½ lengths third of 7 to Pearls Galore in listed race at Leopardstown (8f, good) 26 days ago, barely adequate test. Back up in trip. Respected.

Age: 4| Weight: 9-5| J: S M Crosse| T: J P O'Brien| OR: 105| D

5/1

Winner of 3 of his 4 starts at 2, notably the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud. Struggled for Mark Johnston last season but signs of revival for new yard when 2 lengths fourth of 9 to Layfayette in Alleged over C&D. Claims if building on that.

Form: 1/5054-4

High Definition²²

Age: 4| Weight: 9-5| J: R L Moore| T: A P O'Brien| OR: 109| BF| C

5/2

Looked a top-class prospect at 2. Last season was a but of a washout after his encouraging Dante third but he showed he's back in better form when 1¼ lengths second of 9 to Layfayette in Alleged on his C&D return. Yard has outstanding record in this.

Form: 1/3069-2

3/1

Career best when winning 9-runner Alleged over C&D (good to soft, 7/2) 22 days ago by 1¼ lengths from High Definition, cosily. Leading claims.

Visualisation²²

Age: 4| Weight: 9-5| J: Declan McDonogh| T: J P O'Brien| OR: 104| C

22/1

Smart gelding. Course winner. 17/2, 4¼ lengths last of 9 to Layfayette in Alleged Stakes at this C&D (good to soft) 22 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Forecasts

High Definition (5/2), Layfayette (3/1), Licence (10/3), Gear Up (5/1), Cadillac (9/1), Bear Story (14/1), Visualisation (22/1)

LAYFAYETTE has taken his form up another notch this year and might be capable of confirming last month's C&D superiority over a few of these rivals. High Definition chased him home on that occasion and may do so again. Licence was also second to the selection at Naas in March and this very lightly-raced colt is another who should be involved at the finish.
