Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: Joey Haynes| T: C Banham| OR: 76

10/3

Won a pair of 7.5f Beverley novices at the end of last summer and took another step forward when fourth in handicap there on reappearance 13 days ago. That form has already been boosted. Big player with further improvement likely.

Form: 511-4

Brush Creek²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Dane O'Neill| T: H Candy| OR: 72

10/1

Lightly-raced maiden. 28/1, sixth of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) on reappearance 20 days ago, late headway without being knocked about. Strikes as type to do better at some point.

Form: 833-6

Convection¹⁷⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Rob Hornby| T: R M Beckett| OR: 72

9/2

Career best when winning 13-runner nursery at Kempton (7f) in November. Did that quite cosily so 5 lb rise shouldn't prevent her getting involved if primed after nearly 6 months off.

Form: 55581-

Forecasts

Piastrella (10/3), Gatecrasher Girl (7/2), Convection (9/2), My Silent Song (9/2), Reel Rosie (11/2), Quick Change (6/1), Brush Creek (10/1), Social Contact (16/1)

PIASTRELLA's recent Beverley fourth is shaping up to be solid early-season form and she's taken to build on that and take her career record to 3-5. Reel Rosie and Quick Change could have more to come now moving into handicaps and head the dangers in what looks a competitive 3-y-o handicap.
