Very smart gelding. Career best when winning 8-runner Tattersalls Gold Cup at this course (10.5f, heavy, 8/1) by short head from Broome when last seen in May. Looked right at home in the mud there and suspect he'll come on for this return under quicker conditions.

Useful colt. Latest win at Dundalk in September. Off 5 months, 12/1, creditable 3¾ lengths third of 7 to Layfayette in listed race at Naas (10f, good to soft) 14 days ago. Stacks to find.
Useful gelding. Latest win at Naas in October. 4 lengths sixth of 7 to Pearls Galore in listed race (33/1) at Leopardstown (8f, good) 4 days ago. Back up in trip. Can't be fancied.
Winner of 3 of his 4 starts at 2 yrs, notably the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud final outing. Struggled last season but could revive at 4 and is the type to make an impact in Group races in Ireland for new yard. Tongue tie goes on.
Smart gelding. Didn't need to improve to win 14-runner listed race (4/1) at Leopardstown (10f, good to soft) by 2½ lengths when last seen 176 days ago. Certainly a contender on form although record first time out suggests he'll come on for this.

Looked a top-class prospect at 2 yrs, firing home in the Beresford here, but last season became a washout after his encouraging Dante third. Could be telling that Ballydoyle have persisted with him and he drops in grade on his return.
Smart gelding. 11/2, career best when winning 7-runner listed race at Naas (10f, good to soft) on return 14 days ago by ½ length from Licence. Could go well again.
Useful gelding. C&D winner and took a Dundalk event in September. Bit to find on these terms but good record fresh bodes well.
Smart gelding. Course winner. Four wins from 8 runs last year. Off 175 days. Yard in form and he could have more to offer in 2022.

High Definition (5/2), Layfayette (7/2), Georgeville (11/2), Helvic Dream (7/1), Jason The Militant (7/1), Leo De Fury (8/1), Visualisation (17/2), Gear Up (11/1), Bear Story (25/1), Agitare (40/1)
It could be very significant that Ballydoyle have persisted with HIGH DEFINITION and he's worth one more chance. Hailed by many as the second coming after an unbeaten juvenile campaign at the Curragh, his reputation was left in tatters after a miserable end to his 3-y-o campaign. He drops in grade on his return and his good record fresh offers hope of a big showing. Jason The Militant and Gear Up are a couple of the other interesting contenders.
