Placed on 3 of 4 starts in maiden/novice hurdles last term and easily best effort over fences when runner-up at Leicester 3 weeks ago. Repeat of that will see him on the premises having been eased 2 lb.
Has rather lost the plot since her successful return at Ludlow, never looking like a repeat victory in a Leicester handicap a month ago.
Real improver of late, finally opening his account over hurdles at Huntingdon in January before following up on chase debut a month ago. Up 7 lb but likely has more to offer now he's up and running.
Went close in a maiden hurdle here in May but has failed to reproduce that level of form since, including over fences the last thrice.
Lightly-raced type who left previous efforts well behind on first go over fences when overhauling a progressive rival over 19.2f last month. Likely to have followed up had he not fallen 3 out at Newcastle so obvious claims from same mark.
Maiden who was again held back again by his jumping when fifth here in December. Others preferred for win purposes.
Back-to-back winner here early last year, however beaten a long way all 4 starts since and has a bit to prove at present.
Perth winner last summer. Down in the weights for new yard and fared better behind improver at Fakenham (21.2f) last month. Ran no sort of race last time but marked step up in trip could have been the reason.
Patchy record for Fergal O'Brien and has yet to show much for current yard. Drop back from 3m will at least suit. 3 lb out of the weights.
Decidedly limited sort who hasn't won since 2018 (over this C&D). 11 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Edmond Dantes (6/4), Alberic (7/2), Onchan (4/1), Miraculous Getaway (4/1), Go All The Way (10/1), Vinnie's Getaway (16/1), Who's The Guv'nor (33/1), Happy News (40/1), Getaway North (40/1), Wells Gold (50/1), L'Es Fremantle (150/1)
Having won on chase debut, EDMOND DANTES was yet to be asked for his effort when falling at Newcastle so is well worth another chance from the same mark. Alberic also arrives on the up and is second choice, ahead of Onchan.
