Left form in maiden/novice company well behind when third on handicap bow at Taunton. Progressed again to open his account over 19.8f here recently and a 6 lb rise may not be enough to stop him.

Improved from out of the blue when narrowly landing a big-field 19f Taunton handicap (Wetanwindy back in third) last month. However, well held over the same C&D next time and now tried in cheekpieces.

Made all in 19.5f Chepstow handicap last term and best effort of the season so far when 3¼ lengths third to Wetanwindy here 11 days ago. 6 lb better off with that rival now and each-way claims.

Disappointed on handicap debut at Uttoxeter on New Year's Eve but much more like it following a wind op, making the frame at Fontwell (21.8f) and Taunton (3m) the last twice. One to consider.

Hurdles winner who has hit the frame on a host of occasions without success over fences. No show in Taunton handicap won by Novus Aditus back hurdling last time and he's basically opposable.

Never dangerous in 3 qualifying runs but raised his game when third on handicap bow at Wetherby (19.7f). Testing conditions may not have been ideal that day and further progress likely.

Improved when placed twice in 2m handicaps last spring, and latest seventh of 16 in 19f Taunton race won by Novus Aditus was a creditable effort. This new trip should suit and he's not discounted.

Fair in bumpers but hasn't offered a great deal of encouragement in this sphere to date, again finishing out with the washing on handicap debut at Hereford last time.

Veteran who snapped a long losing run in C&D amateurs' handicap off this mark last March. Likely he'll be shaper than on his reappearance at Taunton in December, but others preferred all the same.

Hasn't pulled up any trees thus far and big step forward needed if he's to emerge on top here.

No show in a trio of maiden hurdles but in good hands and it will be interesting to see how he shaped up in the betting now pitched into a handicap. Has undergone wind surgery.

Point winner who produced a couple of fair efforts under Rules last season. However, efforts during the present campaign so far have not been at all inspiring.

There could be more to come from WETANWINDY, who has improved markedly switched to handicaps the last twice. Indeed, he scored cosily here 11 days ago, despte not meeting the final two flights in stride, and this 6 lb higher mark should be within reach. Roger Rarebit's handicap debut effort at Wetherby was promising and, with better ground forecast here, he is next best ahead of Lazy Sunday.
