Verdict

EARLOFTHECOTSWOLDS would have his work cut out to topple an on-song Nayef Road, but he finished in front of the latter when third over C&D last month and that rival's subsequent effort in Saudi Arabia was low-key, for all that excuses can be made. Conversely, Earlofthecotswolds has since bolted up in a maiden here and he may have more to offer in this sphere. Coltrane should also be involved.
