7/1

Completed a handicap hurdle hat-trick in autumn 2019. Found life tougher since but he could be sharper for a recent comeback run at Plumpton and has been given a chance by the handicapper.

Sheriff Garrett^t²⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: T D Easterby| OR: 115| D

9/1

Has fallen on his last 2 outings so clearly comes with some risks but runner-up finish over C&D on Boxing Day shows he's more than capable off his mark if he can cut out the errors.

Form: 3602FF

Zafar^p²⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-7| J: Abbie McCain⁽⁵⁾| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 114| D

17/2

Third win in a productive first season for this yard when seeing off 6 rivals at Musselburgh January. Shaped as if still in form when fifth back there latest.

Form: 323315

Twoshotsoftequila^h¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Nathan Moscrop| T: R Menzies| OR: 112| BF| C

4/6

Opened his account in a 17f course maiden on Boxing Day and pair of good runner-up efforts in handicaps since (C&D latterly). Big player for his very much in-form stable.

Form: 346122

Le Grand Vert³³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Alain Cawley| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 109

14/1

Fairly useful ex-French hurdler/chaser but fell on his final 2 starts there and remote fourth of 5 in a Newcastle handicap hurdle on his British debut 33 days ago. Could only consider if backed.

Form: 63-1FF4

Perfect Man²⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 10-10| J: Miss Becky Smith⁽³⁾| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 103| D

15/2

Landed a Leicester seller for Olly Murphy last winter but winless for Sophie Leech and generally below form for current stable. Others make more appeal.

Forecasts

Twoshotsoftequila (4/6), Faire Part Sivola (5/1), Mason Jar (7/1), Perfect Man (15/2), Zafar (17/2), Sheriff Garrett (9/1), Le Grand Vert (14/1)

TWOSHOTSOFTEQUILA has gone up 5 lb for his C&D second last month but this unexposed sort could have more to come and his yard could hardly be in better form so he gets the vote. Sheriff Garrett has suffered two falls since his C&D second on Boxing Day but could pose the main threat if his jumping holds up. Mason Jar is worth monitoring in the betting on his second run after a break.
