Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: Craig Nichol| T: Paul Robson| OR: 100| D

7/1

Confirmed promise of his Newcastle run when cashing in on a career-low mark at Leicester 3 weeks ago. 6 lb ruse needn't prevent a bold follow-up bid.

Off 17 months before good second of 10 in handicap chase over 20.5f here in November. Form of that was franked and he also finished second back here last month. Big player if seeing out 3m.

Asking For Answers^v³³

Age: 9| Weight: 11-6| J: Danny McMenamin| T: M Todhunter| OR: 94| CD

14/1

Won first 2 starts last term (both at 3m). Returned with good second at Hexham in November and this is his level having contested a couple of better handicaps than this. Stamina his forte.

Form: 1PF-2P4

Shaka The King^p³⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Ryan Mania| T: A M Thomson| OR: 90| BF

4/1

Steadily progressive maiden hurdler. Encouragement to glean from December's return/chase debut fourth at Hexham (20f) but never looked like justifying support at Newcastle.

Form: 4652-4P

To The Limit^b⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-5| J: Sam Coltherd| T: W Coltherd| OR: 79

10/3

Posted career best when winning 9-runner handicap chase at Kelso (23.4f, soft) last month. Backed that up from revised mark at Carlisle but this looks a slightly better race.

Form: 63U413

Forecasts

Destiny Is All (9/5), To The Limit (10/3), Shaka The King (4/1), Magic Of Milan (6/1), Just Don't Know (7/1), Asking For Answers (14/1), Peak Time (25/1)

DESTINY IS ALL has to prove his stamina for 3m but the form of his runner-up efforts at this track look very solid in the context of this so he appeals as being the way to go. Just Don't Know tasted success last time and is feared most.
