Left chase debut effort in his wake (albeit with a slice of luck) fitted with headgear when running out a 5-length winner at Ludlow October 2020. Let down by jumping after 14 months off at Huntingdon.
Fair 3m chase winner in early 2020 but well held both starts this season after 15 months off. Change of headgear.
Good start for new yard, winning at Sedgefield before runner-up at Catterick next 2 starts. Looks sure to be in the thick of things again.
Won both starts in handicap chases in 2020 but well held all 4 starts this term after 13 months off.
Temperamental sort who upped his game to end losing run at Stratford. Resumed winning ways by a narrow margin at Ludlow 3 weeks ago and is building a reasonable record under his rider.
Patchy profile but showed first form over fences when second of 4 at Newcastle and backed that up when filling same spot at Leicester. Player.
Fairly useful chaser at best. Temperament has got the better of him this season, though stopped the slide to some extent when third in this headgear at Fakenham.
Justified good support to make a winning start over fences at Fakenham, though it didn't look likely for much of the way, his stamina kicking in late. Return to this trip will suit and more to come.
Won a 2-runner handicap at Newcastle (23.4f, good to firm) in first-time headgear but failed to back that up at Catterick on New Year's Day. Needs to bounce back.
Ex-pointer who ran well in a first-time tongue strap when third at Musselburgh (3m) in January. Better for return when fifth tried in this headgear at Catterick, though possibly not straightforward.
Just the one win from half-a-dozen starts in points. Ran his best race in first-time cheekpieces/tongue strap when third at Wincanton but failed to back that up there next time.
Dual hurdles last winner, but record stands at 0-21 in this sphere and he's hard to recommend with any degree of confidence.
Well treated on his best form but wasn't with Dr Richard Newland long and he's finished well held in 6 runs for current yard. All to prove.

Ajay's Ways (5/2), Clondaw Pretender (9/2), No Cruise Yet (7/1), Minella Examiner (8/1), Eagle De Guye (11/1), Catlin (11/1), Steel Wave (12/1), Peter's Portrait (12/1), Well Cliche (12/1), Canada Kid (18/1), Sackett (20/1), Coole Lion (20/1), Hidden Glen (50/1), Lough Salt (66/1)
AJAY'S WAYS justified good support to make a winning start over fences and should have even more to offer over this longer trip given how he shaped. He's taken to follow up at the main expense of in-form pair Clondaw Pretender and No Cruise Yet.
