Bumper winner for Henry Daly in the spring who ran out at the end of the back straight on Uttoxeter hurdling debut. Made amends at Newcastle last month and should have more to offer.
Much improved from return/hurdles debut when winning 2m Uttoxeter maiden in the mud easily last month. Held back by a bad mistake under a penalty at Fontwell and he sets the standard.
first foal: dam, 1½m winner, closely related to winners up to 1¼m Kachgai (smart) and Terre A Terre (very smart). Pulled up sole start in Irish points (Dec 4) but has joined a top yard.
Made a winning start to his career in a Carlisle bumper for Stuart Crawford in November 2020. Bought for £40,000 soon after and looked booked for third when falling on Boxing Day.
Second foal: brother to a point winner: dam, little impact in points, sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 23f) Pylonthepressure. Runner-up completed start in points (Dec 12).
£6,500 3-y-o, Getaway gelding. Dam, maiden pointer, sister to fairly useful chaser (stayed 2½m) Royal Macnab. Shaped like a long-term project starting out in a course bumper last month.
£30,000 half-brother to 4 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Flag of Honour (2m winner). Minor promise at Doncaster but looks a handicap project.
Showed promise on first start in bumper but failed to build on that when well held 6 months later. Big price after low-key hurdles bow but more like it when seventh at Ayr.
Nicely bred and quickened up well to score comfortably on debut in a bumper at Hexham in April. Sound effort under a penalty 8 months later and one to consider now hurdling.
Promising debut when third in 2½m Aintree novice won by the useful Hillcrest , around 3 lengths adrift of the runner-up Our Jet. Weakening out of it when falling at Warwick last month.
Jet Away gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful chaser Ruinous. Second in point and offered something to work on in an Irish bumper during the summer. Sold from Mark Fahey 11,500 gns soon after.

Risk D'Argent (6/4), Limetree Boy (11/4), Lupus Regem (9/2), Fringill Dike (13/2), Apothicaire (9/1), Barnabas Collins (14/1), Strike Of Lighting (50/1), Beat The Edge (80/1), Get Going (100/1), Fathers Advice (125/1), Copper Beach (125/1), Doors Breaker (300/1)
RISK D'ARGENT's defeat of a couple of next-time-out winners at Uttoxeter appeals as the strongest piece of form on offer and he had an excuse for a slightly lesser effort at Fontwell a month ago. Lupus Regem is likely to surpass the level he achieved at Newcastle, while Fringill Dike deserves a mention as a bumper scorer.
