Half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Hold The Note, stays 3m, and fairly useful hurdler Supakalanistic. In good hands but looks a long-term project.

Coastal Path gelding. Dam maiden jumper, also raced 3 times on Flat. Wasn't unbacked prior to making a winning debut in a Ffos Las bumper in October. Good hurdles prospect.

Second sole point start a year ago but little in the way of promise over hurdles during the autumn.

Irish bumper winner during the spring for Lousie G.Lyons. Not at that level over hurdles for new connections but has to be capable of a lot better.

Runner-up sole start in point bumpers. Showed a bit on hurdles bow/return last month but failed to repeat that effort at Taunton.

Only hinted at ability in bumpers for Ron Hodges and likely a handicap project over hurdles, but still capable of making an impression at this level.

Bred to need time and distance and never on terms starting out over C&D in November. Was prominent in the betting, though.

Forecasts

Gamaret (8/15), Judicial Law (3/1), Sweet Nightingale (7/1), The Generous Joker (18/1), Advantura (20/1), Christopher Clive (25/1), Time Bandit (50/1), Imperial Joe (66/1), Liimari (200/1)

Verdict

GAMARET will likely excel over longer trips than this over hurdles but he has been found a weak-looking contest on the back of a bumper win and he will take some stopping. Judicial Law has to be better than we've seen so far over obstacles and is feared most.

  1. GAMARET (FR)
  2. JUDICIAL LAW (IRE)
  3. SWEET NIGHTINGALE
