Forecasts

Cuban Beat (9/4), Belacqua (9/4), Sid's Annie (5/1), Big Bear Hug (17/2), Wadacre Grace (11/1), Saorla (20/1), Winning Empress (20/1), Initiate (22/1), Tsubaki (22/1), Sweet Summer (66/1), Brave Lily (80/1), Bass Strait (80/1), Control (125/1), By Pass (250/1)

Verdict

The market can guide expectation with regards to the newcomers but BIG BEAR HUG took a huge step forward 4 months on from her debut when fourth at Yarmouth in October. The race she contested on debut has largely worked out very well, so she gets the nod to open her account. Belacqua made a winning debut at Lingfield in August so she's feared most, ahead of Cuban Beat.

  1. BIG BEAR HUG
  2. BELACQUA (IRE)
  3. CUBAN BEAT
