11/4

Improved on hurdles form when second at Worcester on handicap bow return, no match for the winner but shaping as if this step up in trip will suit. More to come, and sure to go well.

Little solid form over hurdles and didn't offer much immediate promise sent chasing at Huntingdon on return, albeit in face of a stiff task.

Forecasts

Aki Bomaye (11/4), Macfin (3/1), Shah An Shah (4/1), Lord Sparky (11/2), Peur De Rien (8/1), Smuggler's Blues (12/1), Queen Of The Court (12/1), Generator City (14/1), Fingerontheswitch (25/1), Artemision (28/1)

Winning-pointer AKI BOMAYE made an encouraging start over fences when second at Worcester on his handicap bow/return and should have more to offer over this longer trip. Lord Sparky has an excellent record around here and arrives on the back of a good second at Southwell, while Peur de Rien should prove sharper for his return.
