Produced an improved round of jumping when narrowly opening his chase account over C&D on final start of last season. Remains on a workable mark, but his profile is too patchy for comfort.
Fairly useful maiden hurdler for Tim Vaughan and impressive start over fences when landing a gamble for new yard back from 20 months off at Stratford (22.6f). Up 9 lb, but remains open to improvement.
Raised his game when landing a Wincanton handicap chase last November. Followed up over hurdles next time, but ended that campaign on a downer and others look stronger here.
Dual hurdles winner who opened chase account over C&D in January. Bettered low-key reappearance effort when fifth of 11 at Ffos Las recently and each-way chance back here in a first-time tongue strap.
Doubled his tally in this sphere at Stratford in March, but typically failed to back that up next time (over hurdles) and the risks are there for all to see.
Wide-margin winner of Ffos Las handicap on chase debut in January 2020. Jumping wasn't so slick when eventually unseating at Kempton the following month and absent since, but he remains of interest.
Useful handicap chaser at his peak, but failed to fire last season and reappearance effort over hurdles at Exeter hardly suggested that a revival was imminent.
Generally progressive over hurdles last season, winning twice. Positive start to chase career when third at Worcester (16.5f) in October and he should improve for that experience. Cheekpieces added.
£185,000 Irish point winner who won a maiden/novice hurdle last season. Disappointed on return/chase debut here in November, but he looks a chasing type and is probably worth another chance.
Poor stike rate in Ireland and probably best watched off what looks a tough mark for this British debut.
German Flat winner who won twice over hurdles in France in 2019. Creditable fifth of 13 on return in 2½m Lingfield handicap chase recently and should make his presence felt.
Dual 2m chase winner at Ffos Las and travelled well for a long way upped to 23.8f there on return last month. On a workable mark and very much one to consider back down in trip.

Shaman Du Berlais (11/4), When You're Ready (9/2), Foxboro (6/1), Le Cameleon (6/1), Brewers Project (17/2), Mouseinthehouse (12/1), Keep Wondering (14/1), Brave Seasca (14/1), Duc De Beauchene (16/1), The Russian Doyen (20/1), Not A Role Model (22/1), Joueur Bresilien (28/1), Great Khan (100/1)
Several to consider in this competitive contest headed by MOUSEINTHEHOUSE, who travelled well for a long way before eventually running out of petrol upped to 23.8f at Ffos Las last month. The return to this trip will be ideal and he gets the nod ahead of impressive chase debut winner Shaman du Berlais. Foxboro shaped well at Lingfield and also has claims, along with When You're Ready.
- MOUSEINTHEHOUSE (IRE)
- SHAMAN DU BERLAIS (FR)
- FOXBORO (GER)
