Fair form in bumpers and has shown some promise in 3 hurdles runs around 2m, finishing 11 lengths second at Market Rasen latest. Likely improver now handicapping over further.
Is now 3-3 over hurdles here, with first 2 successes coming back in 2017. Return to this venue saw him bounce back to form with bang to see off 10 rivals over 2m last month. Only 4 lb higher now.
Showed a bit in a couple of novice hurdles early last year but has failed to build on that in 4 handicaps since. Still relatively early days but others have less to prove. First outing for 6 months.
Off the mark in 2m handicap here in May. Respectable third over 20.5f at Ayr last month. Ought to be competitive.
Has run well to be placed in a pair of 2m handicaps at Uttoxeter this month. Sure to be thereabouts if as effective over this longer trip.
Finally shed maiden tag when coming from rear to score by 7 lengths at Kelso (21f, good to soft) 45 days ago. Overall profile doesn't mark him down as an obvious type to follow up off 7 lb higher.
Maiden but he is down to a mark he should be very competitive from and his recent reappearance fourth over 2m here was creditable. Another who can't be discounted.
Runner-up over C&D last October, but hasn't managed to build on that in 5 subsequent starts.

Heart Of Kernow (2/1), Early Morning Dew (9/2), Click And Collect (5/1), Foillan (13/2), Red Ochre (13/2), Coral Blue (10/1), Sputnik (10/1), African Glory (12/1), Kilcaragh Boy (20/1), Bonny Houxty (28/1)
There should be more to come from FOILLAN now stepping up to 2½m so he's fancied to strike on handicap debut for the Dr Richard Newland team. Early Morning Dew has shaped nicely in a pair of 2m Uttoxeter handicaps of late and should play a part if seeing out the longer trip, while Heart of Kernow's course record makes him a must for the shortlist.
