Quickly developed into a useful novice hurdler, winning the EBF Final over C&D (heavy) by 11 lengths under this rider when last seen in March. Stunning start in handicaps and could have more to come.
Fragile but useful and all the better for a wind op as he gained a first win for almost 4 years in 19.2f Fontwell 4-runner handicap hurdle in the mud 5 weeks ago. No banker to be in the same form.
Winning pointer who got off the mark over hurdles at Wincanton (21.3f) in March fitted with a tongue tie. Mistakes and disappointing at Chepstow next time but could still do better this term. Wind op.
Useful chaser but shaped pretty encouragingly back off his lower hurdles mark after 6 months off at Fontwell, clear of rest. Gone well here in the past and player up 4 lb in re-fitted tongue tie.
Not shown much for a while but has a good record fresh and handicapper has given him a big helping hand as he returns over hurdles. Young 10 lb conditional been shaping up well. Interesting.
Jumped poorly but still managed to open his account in 21f Ludlow novice hurdle when last seen a year ago. Hood fitted for handicap debut/return and he'll need to cut out the mistakes.
Won 17.7f Fontwell handicap hurdle in September and travelled well in deeper ground in race won by Mr One More back there 5 weeks ago. Remains in form and could figure.
Successful return/debut for yard in 20f Worcester handicap hurdle last month, leading close home under this rider. Couldn't rule out up 5 lb.
Won a claiming hurdle on final start in France, but failed to make much of an impact for Charlie Mann. Could revive for new yard after 7 months away.
Probably needed the run at Newton Abbot after 30 months on the sidelines and now back at the scene of his impressive C&D novice handicap win in February 2019, but clearly plenty of risks attached.

Forecasts
Beauport (2/1), Champagne Court (10/3), Jesuitique (9/2), Broken Halo (8/1), Mr One More (10/1), Vorashann (16/1), Count Meribel (18/1), Wildfire Warrior (20/1), Duarigle (40/1), Mistersister (66/1)
It could be worth chancing COUNT MERIBEL. It's been a while since he's run to his useful best but the handicapper has given him a huge chance ahead of a rare run over hurdles and his good record fresh bodes well. His stablemate Beauport is obviously a lot safer on paper having run his rivals ragged in the EBF Novices' Final here when last seen. Champagne Court and Broken Halo are also considered.
- COUNT MERIBEL
- BEAUPORT (IRE)
- CHAMPAGNE COURT (IRE)
