Trouble Shooter^p⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: C O'Farrell| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 97

100/1

Fair on the Flat and modes5 over hurdles, but underwhelming under both codes for current yard. Others make more appeal.

Geonice³⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: B S Hughes| T: J & S Quinn| OR: 91| CD

9/4

Confirmed encouragement of previous run when opening his account over C&D 35 days ago and, in a decidedly weak contest, he's an obvious choice to go in again.

Form: 6F-0031

Thornton Le Clay^b,t²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Tom Midgley⁽⁷⁾| T: M & D Easterby| OR: 91

50/1

Maiden pointer. Winless following a dozen starts on the Flat and well held both starts over hurdles. Worth a market check now switched to handicaps.

Form: UP-2P44

Court Baloo^p¹³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-3| J: Theo Gillard⁽⁵⁾| T: Ewan Whillans| OR: 88| CD

50/1

Three-time C&D winner who is hard to recommend based on his last couple of outings.

Form: 775-VPP

Magic Of Milan^t¹⁷¹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Callum Bewley| T: S England| OR: 83

16/1

Off the mark over hurdles at Ayr in January 2019. Shaped well back from a lengthy absence over C&D on sole start for Susan Corbett 171 days ago and has now rejoined former yard. One to note.

Form: 12726/3

Great Raffles¹⁷⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-11| J: Alain Cawley| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 82

50/1

Lightly-raced hurdler who has struggled on each of his 5 starts on these shores.

Form: P395P-5

Atomic Angel¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-10| J: Sam Coltherd| T: S Corbett| OR: 81

5/1

Barely modest form to date and, while her latest third at Ayr was respectable, she didn't appear to have anything in hand.

Form: 663-353

Mcgarry²⁴³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Thomas Dowson| T: P A Kirby| OR: 78

5/6

Point winner who has been generally disappointing over hurdles but Sedgefield fourth in March was a bit better. Off 8 months and could have a decent shout having fallen a long way in the weights.

Form: P95904-

Espoir Moriviere¹⁷¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Craig Nichol| T: R Dobbin| OR: 78

16/1

Modest hurdler who was well below form over C&D when last seen but did score on his reappearance last season, so not totally dismissed.

Form: 52557-0

Yorgunnabeamunky^p1²⁵¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-4| J: Danny McMenamin| T: R Ross| OR: 75

100/1

Well held in bumper/trio of novice hurdles. Upped markedly in trip with cheekpieces applied for handicap debut, but still a good deal to prove.

Form: 6860-

Mileva Roller¹¹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-0| J: Thomas Willmott⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss L Harrison| OR: 68

125/1

Long-standing maiden hurdler who failed to beat a rival at Ayr 11 days ago.

Form: F/07937

Kitty's Cove^v¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: M Todhunter| OR: 66

66/1

Modest winner on Flat but poor maiden over hurdles and faces another stiff task from out of the weights.

Form: 8-5P799

Forecasts

Mcgarry (5/6), Geonice (9/4), Atomic Angel (5/1), Espoir Moriviere (16/1), Magic Of Milan (16/1), Filou D'Anjou (25/1), Thornton Le Clay (50/1), Great Raffles (50/1), Court Baloo (50/1), Kitty's Cove (66/1), Yorgunnabeamunky (100/1), Trouble Shooter (100/1), Mileva Roller (125/1)

GEONICE is the only one going the right way and has only been handed a small rise for his C&D victory 8 months ago, so he's a straightforward choice to go in again. Magic of Milan is on a good mark and shaped well when last seen, so he's regarded as a danger along with the well treated McGarry.
