Stormed clear to get back to winning ways at Hamilton last month. Respectable 5 lengths fifth of 9 at Bath latest. Been eased 2 lb since which can only help.

No show in 2 starts last year but back on track this term, capitalising on reduced mark at Windsor in August. Has shown enough in his 3 outings since to suggest he's still in form.

Dual 1½m Chester scorer in 2021 who posted another solid effort when second at Catterick (1½m) last month. Ridden too aggressively over C&D since and treated as if still in form.

Very useful at his best and took advantage of a reduced turf mark on his debut for a new yard at York last month. 3 lb rise looks fair enough given the front 2 pulled clear. Should go well.

Made second handicap start a winning one when comfortably on top at Epsom (1½m) a month ago. May have found the run coming too soon when well held at Kempton 9 days later. Could bounce back.

Useful performer at best for Neil Mulholland. Hinted at a revival at second time of asking for new stable when fifth of 8 on Wolverhampton's AW recently. Needs to build on that now.

Two turf wins over this trip under Ryan Moore at the end of the summer and last week's AW third at Kempton appeals as solid form. Likely to give another good account.

Came good at the second time of asking in handicaps when seeing off 10 rivals at Yarmouth (1½m) last month. Raised 4 lb but this low-mileage 3-y-o may yet have more to come.

Improved to win a pair of 1¼m handicaps on soft this month. Had 4½ lengths to spare at Doncaster last week so a penalty doesn't look enough to stop him with 1½m promising to suit.

Forecasts

The Nu Form Way (5/2), Saratoga Gold (5/1), Iconique (11/2), Going Gone (6/1), Prince Of Harts (13/2), Kasperenko (9/1), Love Is Golden (11/1), Koeman (14/1), Niblawi (33/1)

Verdict

The step up to 1½m should be in the favour of THE NU FORM WAY and he's fancied to make light of a 6 lb penalty and complete an October hat-trick. Saratoga Gold is 2-2 under Ryan Moore and ran well on AW last week so he may provide the main threat ahead of Kasperenko, who made a winning start for Eric Alston at York and remains nicely treated on his peak form.
