C&D winner. Sixth of 8 in handicap (16/1) at Kempton (12f) 64 days ago, running on. Sneaks into this 0-65 company and could have a say in proceedings.

14/1, probably needed the run after 6 months off when eighth of 10 in handicap at Yarmouth (8f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Back up in trip and should be much sharper today.

8/1, followed a good run with a below-par one when eleventh of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f). Off 120 days. Others more persuasive.

Career best when winning 13-runner handicap at this C&D (14/1) 14 days ago. Looks capable of winning again around here so not discounted up 7 lb.

4-time C&D winner. Latest win here in April. 50/1, ninth of 11 in handicap at Nottingham (10.2f, soft) 17 days ago. Much more interesting back on the all-weather so could play a leading role.

First run since leaving Sir Mark Prescott Bt when 33/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, career best when winning 15-runner handicap at this C&D 37 days ago, suited by increase in trip. 4 lb rise fair.

Forecasts

Athers (85/40), Western Beat (11/4), Arabic Welcome (8/1), Eaglesglen (17/2), Wimpole Hall (9/1), Meisterzinger (12/1), Captain St Lucifer (12/1), Beyond Infinity (16/1), Engrave (16/1), Power On (18/1), Morani Kali (50/1), Luna Wish (50/1), Full Moon Rising (50/1)

Verdict

Several in with a chance but it could pay to side with ENGRAVE. Julia Feilden's charge is yet to score away from this venue and, having slipped back down in the weights, she's taken to notch a fifth C&D victory. Athers proved better than ever to open his account over C&D a fortnight ago so could give the selection most to think about, ahead of Western Beat and Wimpole Hall.
