Dual winner this term, latterly at Chester in July, and shaped as if still in form when ninth in the Melrose Stakes at York a couple of months ago. Obvious player back in calmer waters.
Improved model this year, confidently ridden and value for plenty more than the winning margin at Chester (15.9f) a couple of months ago (first 2 well clear). Possible he can do better still.
Dual winner this year whose form tailed off for Mark Johnston. Starts out for a new yard after a short break, but others are more persuasive.
Mud lover who relished the conditions when landing a 6-runner event at Leicester earlier in the month. Has the ground to suit once more, so every reason to think he'll run well.
Much improved this season, registering third success of the campaign at Sandown in September. Poorly placed when runner-up at Newbury last time, so another solid showing is on the cards.
Fairly useful colt who got off the mark under an enterprising ride at Wolverhampton last time but now looks vulnerable in a more competitive environment under a penalty
Likeable filly who enhanced a good record with cut in the ground when scoring comfortably at Nottingham 16 day ago. 8 lb rise might not be enough to stop her.
Off the mark at Salisbury in May and has held his form well since, fourth at Kempton in first-time blinkers on latest outing. Dropped 1 lb since, and should give another good account.
Dual winner for Jean-Claude Rouget in France, latterly a 9f claimer in May. Similar form on first couple of starts for this yard and ran well over hurdles on latest, so not without a chance.
Winner at Wolverhampton in August. Creditable efforts subsequently, but the handicapper looks in control at the moment.

Forecasts
Secret Shadow (3/1), Downsman (10/3), Oman (4/1), Crema Inglesa (6/1), Maketh Believeth (8/1), Reverend Hubert (11/1), Aggagio (25/1), Glen Again (25/1), Solent Gateway (25/1), Thunder Ahead (33/1)
This is competitive, but SECRET SHADOW cleared away in such impressive fashion at Nottingham last time that she's well worth a chance to follow up under similar conditions. Downsman should relish the conditions and lay down a strong challenge, while Oman also warrants respect dropped in grade.
