Mahler gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Padraig's Joy, stayed 25f, and fair chaser Mr Palmtree. Dam (c106/h85) 2m chase winner. Won Irish point on debut in May.
Offered little in a brace of bumpers last season and has subsequently had a wind operation.
Well held on his only start in an Irish point and showed nothing on Plumpton hurdling debut after a lengthy absence.
Has an ordinary pedigree and didn't show enough in 2 bumpers to make him of serious interest on this switch to hurdles.
In a powerful stable and made a promising start to his career when second in a 7-runner novice hurdle at Kelso (16.2f) 17 days ago, not clear run briefly. Better to come.
Has shown fairly useful form in bumpers, beaten only by a well-touted newcomer at Uttoxeter (15.8f) on final outing in March, and he's bred to do better now jumping over further.
Kayf Tara gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser Brahma Bull. Won Irish point on debut just under a year ago, so he's one to note. Has had a wind op.
Progressed with each of his completed starts in bumpers, opening his account at Warwick in May. Ran a long way below that level when a well-held third on C&D hurdle debut but should leave that behind.
Showed only a bit when fifth in a Punchestown bumper on Rules debut in March, but opened his account in Irish points a month later and subsequently sold for £52,000.
Twice-raced maiden who had little go right when a well-beaten seventh of 8 to Storm Dennis in a Warwick bumper (2m, heavy) in May, but plenty of improvement needed all the same.
Fair ex-French 13f Flat winner. Showed more than first time up over hurdles when second in 3-runner juvenile here (17.7f) in February, and he's a good looker who ought to continue to improve.
Fairly useful Flat winner in France who was given a considerate introduction to hurdling when a well-beaten sixth over C&D in February and will do better in time.
Down the field in 2 bumpers/novice hurdles.
Modest maiden on the Flat so easily passed over on hurdle debut.

Forecasts
Storm Dennis (3/1), No Word Of A Lie (7/2), Ottoman Style (4/1), Albert Van Ornum (11/2), Universal Dave (6/1), Gym Tonic (17/2), Constant Friday (25/1), Gallant Commander (25/1), Saghir (25/1), Walkonthewildside (50/1), Crawford (66/1), Familiar Spirit (150/1), Bay May (150/1), Forgot One (300/1)
STORM DENNIS showed progressive form in bumpers, and with his yard going better now, he's taken to leave his opening hurdles effort well behind. There are several interesting rivals in opposition however, not least Gym Tonic, who made a promising start to his career when second at Kelso 17 days ago. Successful-pointer Ottoman Style and Albert Van Ornum are just a couple of others to note.
- STORM DENNIS (IRE)
- GYM TONIC (FR)
