Winner at Chelmsford in July. 10/3 and cheekpieces on 1st time, disappointing when fourth of 5 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 60 days ago. Gelded, has visor on now, and promising claimer up.

Won at Southwell last November. 5/2, creditable second of 12 in handicap at this course (11f) 20 days ago, needing stiffer test. That was better and he isn't without a chance.

13/2, much improved when winning 8-runner handicap at this C&D 46 days ago by 1¾ lengths from Mutarabby, impressively having been ridden more patiently. 9 lb rise could be lenient.

Sixteen runs since last win in 2018. Creditable 4½ lengths second of 13 to Diamond Bay in handicap (15/2) at this C&D 36 days ago. Held by a couple of the main players here it seems.

Backed and improved to run out a decisive winner on Lingfield's AW (12f) 19 days ago. The way he came clear late on suggests this longer trip could be within range. Much respected.

Verdict

LOVING DASH looked a long way ahead of her mark when trouncing Mutarabby here 7 weeks ago and could progress up the ranks as long as she holds it together (hadn't seemed too keen at times before that). Diamond Bay is on a 4-timer, a run that also includes a C&D victory over Mutarabby, and has to be feared. Bascule also has an appealing profile.

  1. LOVING DASH
  2. DIAMOND BAY
  3. BASCULE (FR)
