Cage Of Fear³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Jack Tudor⁽³⁾| T: Christian Williams| OR: 102

4/1

Successful at Perth (3m) just over a year ago for Fergal O'Brien but hasn't really got going for new stable. Continies to tumble in the weights so worth a market check down in grade.

Zuckerberg⁹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Kieren Buckley| T: J Candlish| OR: 102

10/3

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in France but yet to score for current connections. However, he shaped as if back in form (bad mistake last) at Southwell back in July and he should be thereabouts here.

Form: 04-3543

Bill And Barn¹⁵

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: Kevin Jones| T: M F Harris| OR: 96

9/2

Struggled for Seamus Mullins in 2019/20 but proved that he retains plenty of ability after 19 months off when runner-up on yard debut at Fontwell 15 days ago. Player if building on that.

Form: P2FP4/2

The Darley Lama^p,t¹⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Peter Coleman⁽⁷⁾| T: Justin Landy| OR: 83

9/2

Offered little for Dr Richard Newland but best effort for this yard when fourth of 11 over hurdles at Kelso on penultimate start. Finished lame over C&D on chase bow 19 days ago. Worth another chance.

Form: 539-546

Light Bulb^v1¹¹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-1| J: Jack Hogan⁽⁷⁾| T: N Mechie| OR: 77

18/1

Yet to get his head in front and disappointed in a change of headgear on debut for new connections at this course (26.9f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Down in trip and visor now tried.

Form: 5602U7

Zen Master¹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-0| J: Aaron Anderson⁽³⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 76

Form: F9-PP44

Elixer¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Lorcan Murtagh| T: F P Murtagh| OR: 73

6/1

Long-standing maiden who looked rejuvenated on the back of another breathing operation when third of 10 in handicap chase at this C&D (good) 19 days ago. Task is to back that up.

Forecasts

Zuckerberg (10/3), Cage Of Fear (4/1), Bill And Barn (9/2), Vocaliser (9/2), The Darley Lama (9/2), Elixer (6/1), Zen Master (7/1), Light Bulb (18/1)

A few in with a shout but the vote goes to ZUCKERBERG. Jennie Candlish's charge would have finished closer but for a late blunder at Southwell back in July and, dropping in grade here, he can open his account on these shores. Vocaliser got back on track following another wind op when fourth at Bangor last month so he's feared most, ahead of Bill And Barn.
