Looked badly in need of the experience when last of 7 in maiden (10/1) at Cork (5f, good) on debut. Off 151 days. Gelded since last seen and first-time blinkers go on.
Thrice-raced gelding. 9/1 and gelded, probably needed the run after 5 months off when twelfth of 20 in maiden at Navan (5.8f, soft) 11 days ago. Well worth another chance.
Promising sort. 11/2, eighth of 9 in maiden at the Curragh (7f, good to firm) on debut, weakening only late on. Off 112 days. Should last longer this time so one for the shortlist.
Once-raced gelding. 250/1, eleventh of 14 in maiden at Cork (6f, soft) on debut 19 days ago.
Foaled March 3. £25,000 yearling, The Gurkha gelding. Half-brother to useful 1¼m winner Marunouchi and 1m winner Arthur's Realm. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 6.5f-10.5f winner Athanor.

Forecasts
Lucky San Jore (7/4), El Magnifique (9/4), Kirsapp (4/1), Pearle D'or (13/2), Gun Dog (16/1), Ballincrea Bud (20/1), Morning Soldier (25/1), Shur Lookit (25/1), Tamazu (66/1), Man Is King (125/1), The Dazzer (150/1)
Several in with a shout but KIRSAPP is put forward as the answer. Ger Lyons' charge probably needed the run after 5 months off when finishing down the field in a similar event at Navan 11 days ago and, with his debut form reading well, he's well worth another chance. Lucky San Jore shaped with promise on debut so he's second choice, ahead of newcomer Pearle d'Or and El Magnifique.
