Alternative Fact¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-11| J: M Harley| T: A King| OR: 84| D

11/2

Lost his way for Ed Dunlop but is a useful handicapper at his best and ran creditably on first outing for a new stable when fifth at Newbury (10f) 19 days ago. Chance if building on that.

Forecasts

Moktasaab (4/1), Kaleidoscopic (9/2), Bad Company (5/1), Alternative Fact (11/2), Purple Ribbon (11/2), Rainbow Jet (6/1), Natchez Trace (7/1), Kattani (15/2), London Arch (14/1), Aweedram (25/1), Finoah (28/1), Enthused (40/1), Thistimenextyear (50/1)

NATCHEZ TRACE pulled clear of the rest when runner-up in a useful handicap over C&D last week and looks the most persuasive option turned out quickly from the same mark. Purple Ribbon has made a good start to her career and may have more to offer now handicapping up in trip, while Alternative Fact is well treated on old form and will be a factor if building on his stable debut.
