Smart veteran who has won a trio of conditions events this summer, latest at Beverley (5f) 11 days ago, keeping on gamely. Has been given a chance by the handicapper so could go well again.

It's now fifteen runs since his last win in 2020, but he looks to be coming to the boil, producing another promising effort in a top-end handicap at Ayr (6f) 2 weeks ago. Remains of interest.

Won this corresponding race in 2019 and confirmed the promise of his excellent reappearance with 5f York success in May. Below form all 3 starts since but return to 5f/Ascot are considered positives.

Has done well for his new yard this term, winning twice over 5f at Nottingham in May, and bounced back to his best when second of 16 in the Portland at Doncaster (5.6f) last time. Big chance up 3 lb.

Better than ever this season, overcoming a positional bias to land the hat-trick in Ayr Bronze Cup last month. Lost out only to a well-handicapped one at Haydock subsequently so remains of interest.

Came good at Chester in June but not so good since, having no excuses at Newcastle last time.

Is edging down the weights but is operating a bit below his best at present, only 3½ lengths fourth of 6 to Glory Fighter at Musselburgh last time.

Three-time 5f winner this year and posted another good effort when second to Call Me Ginger in Ayr Bronze Cup. Found good run halted at Haydock last week but he's not the type to stay down for long.

Back to his fairly useful best last 2 starts, capitalising on his reduced mark at Musselburgh (5f) 20 days ago, responding well. Will need to pull out more back up in the weights, though.

Count d'Orsay looks to be coming to the boil again so he looks a major threat, as does Call Me Ginger, who is thriving is present.
