Been in top form this summer, winning 2m Uttoxeter maiden/novice hurdles. Narrowly denied the hat-trick on C&D handicap bow before shaping better than the distance beaten suggests at Newton Abbot.

Runner-up in a pair of novices last season but handed a stiff opening mark and was well held on Catterick hurdle debut in February. Off since.

Fair maiden hurdler who wasn't shaping up too badly towards the end of last season but his fitness has to be taken on trust following 180-day break.

Winner at Market Rasen (20.6f) in November who ran creditably after nearly 2 months off when seventh at Uttoxeter (19.9f) 27 days ago. May be sharper now.

Confirmed the promise of his last run in good style to run out a smooth winner of 12-runner handicap over C&D 41 days ago. Still relatively unexposed, so should go well again up 7 lb.

In excellent form with back-to-back wins at Ludlow (21.2f) in May, but form has dipped since and she finished 10¾ lengths behind Blue Sans over C&D last time. Has work to do.

Verdict

BLUE SANS gave the impression there was more in the tank if required when winning over C&D 27 days ago, and looks leniently treated following a 3-lb rise, especially with the performance backed up by the clock. She can go in again, likely at the main expense of fellow C&D winner Translink, who remains unexposed at this trip. I'm So Busy has been thriving this summer and merits respect, also.
