2019 John Smith's Cup winner who capitalised on a falling mark at Haydock (10f) in June. Disappointing since but remains well handicapped.
Was a bit fortunate to hold on from one that met trouble when doubling his tally at Pontefract 3 weeks ago. Only up a couple of pounds, though, and his breeding points to further progress.
Well-related colt who was second to a subsequent winner at Kempton before comfortably opening his account in a maiden at Musselburgh 16 days ago. Opening mark looks lenient, so big player.
Not fully exposed and improved on the back of a gelding operation when readily making all at Yarmouth 25 days ago. Should go well again if he's a reformed character (had looked quirky previously).
Posted career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Pontefract in July and backed it up with a good second at Beverley 7 days ago, so arrives firing on all cylinders. Others are less exposed, though.

Forecasts
Aramaic (13/8), Moktasaab (2/1), Pivoine (6/1), Duty Of Care (6/1), King Triton (6/1), Regal Mirage (10/1)
The form of ARAMAIC's second in a Kempton novice (before he got off the mark at Musselburgh) makes him look potentially well treated, so he's marginally preferred to recent Pontefract winner Duty of Care, with Moktasaab also worth considering in what strikes as a strong race for the numbers.
