Ended a long losing run at Musselburgh in June and doubled his tally for the year when scoring at Wolverhampton a month later. Not quite so good the last twice and others make more appeal on balance.
Took this contest last year by the narrowest of margins from a 1 lb higher mark. Unable to get his head in front since but has edged down to an attractive weight and could be on the premises.
Twelve runs since last win in 2020 and his last couple of efforts have hardly signalled that a revival is imminent. Down 3 lb but needs to show more before warranting interest. First-time cheekpieces.
Career-best effort when scoring at Carlisle on penultimate start and creditable effort when fifth there next time. Enjoying a good spell at the minute and expected to go well again.
Generally consistent sort who has edged down to an attractive mark, fourth of 8 in handicap (13/2) at Carlisle (6.9f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Each-way claims.
Opened his account at Chelmsford in June and has bettered that form on both starts since, third at Leicester last month. Looks no more than averagely treated and first-time cheekpieces are applied.
Ended a lengthy losing run from a career-low mark at this track (7f) back in July but not quite at that level on both starts since, including on a rare all-weather start last time. Bit more needed.
Enjoying a good season, displaying a good attitude to add another success to the tally at Pontefract (1m, heavy) last month. Still in good form at Ripon next time so she should be in the mix again.
Given a chance by the handicapper and got back on track down in grade when runner-up at Beverley last Friday, having to weave way through under 2f out. Every chance from the same mark here.

Perfect Swiss (5/2), Lasting Legacy (4/1), Typical Man (7/1), Sucellus (15/2), Star Shield (8/1), Gin Palace (8/1), Shawaamekh (8/1), Fast Medicine (9/1), Old News (10/1), Asdaa (14/1), Chookie Dunedin (14/1)
Plenty in with a shout but PERFECT SWISS is put forward as the answer. Having been given a chance by the handicapper, Tim Easterby's charge signalled his turn could be forthcoming when finishing runner-up at Beverley last week, so he gets the vote to go a place better from the same mark here. Typical Man is feared most if leaving a below-par effort behind him, ahead of Chookie Dunedin.
