Progressive sprinter who posted a career best when making all in listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown (5f) in June. Shade keen when well held in Group 3 there since and this mark looks a shade too high.
Won Portland at Doncaster last season and posted another fine effort in a big handicap when third in Epsom 'Dash'. Has largely remained in form since, though was disappointing at Ascot latest.
Useful handicapper who is as good as ever this year, landing 6-runner handicap at Ascot (5f, firm) in July. On the back foot following a tardy start at York so that run can be forgiven.
Very good strike-rate since the start of 2020, and shaped as if still in form when stretched by 6f at Lingfield in April. Likely needed the run at Ascot a month ago and can step up on that.
Completed a Doncaster double in cosy fashion in July and better than ever when fourth at York 17 days ago, not ideally positioned. Big player from the same mark.
Better than ever this season, following up his Musselburgh win at Chester in May. Found to be lame in Temple Stakes at this venue and hasn't looked the same horse since.
Displayed his customary zip when a decisive winner (sixth York success) of a big-field handicap at York 17 days ago. Up 4 lb but he commands respect.
Evidently quirky, but now more tractable and close-up third in Ascot handicap (5f) in July. Hit the frame in another competitive handicap when fifth to Copper Knight at York.
Off 10 months and had wind op before opening his account in 5f Wolverhampton novice in May. Placed in a couple of small-field handicaps but took a backward step minus the hood at Sandown.
At the top of his game, suited by a strong pace when winning cosily at Sandown a fortnight ago. Good run over 6f here on Friday and rider looks good value for her claim.

Forecasts
Be Proud (7/2), Atalis Bay (5/1), Mondammej (6/1), Jawwaal (7/1), Copper Knight (15/2), Get It (15/2), Mountain Peak (9/1), Stone Of Destiny (12/1), Tone The Barone (18/1), Jabbarockie (22/1)
The York handicap 17 days ago could be the key piece of form here, with JAWWAAL, who was something of an eye catcher, taken to come out on top this time. Copper Knight won that contest and seems sure to give it another good go, with Be Proud another to note.
- JAWWAAL
