Poor maiden on Flat and didn't achieve great deal on hurdles debut a month ago.
Fairly useful on the Flat for Andrew Balding. Placed all 4 starts over hurdles for new yard and this trip probably more suitable than 20.4f distance he contested on handicap debut. Tongue tie on.
Fairly useful at one time on Flat for Mark Johnston stays 16.5f. No form in handicaps in 2021 for this yard and now goes hurdling.
Poor maiden on Flat, well held both starts in 2021.
Point winner but of limited account under Rules.
Fair form in bumpers, but not at that level on hurdles bow in August 2019 and off since. Left Alan Jones and usual tongue tie off having had a wind op.
Useful stayer on the Flat for Simon Crisford. Pretty expensive to follow over hurdles, collared close home at Uttoxeter last month but he's the one to beat.
Fair Flat winner, making a successful return from wind op at Chepstow a year ago. In fair form in that sphere this summer and a factor on the pick of his hurdles form.
Added to AW tally in April. Unable to cash in on a lower turf mark since and this his first hurdles start since 2018.
Half-brother to fair hurdler/useful chaser The Last Marju (17f-2½m winner, by Marju). Fair winner on Flat and looked set to finish second until falling at the last at Uttoxeter last month.
Fairly useful on the Flat (stays 1½m) in France and stepped up on opening hurdles run when fourth at Newton Abbot in July (18.5f). Hood reached for.

Forecasts
Percy's Word (1/1), Edinburgh Castle (10/3), Catbird Seat (13/2), Sir Canford (7/1), Ottavio (12/1), On The Meter (16/1), Tynecastle Park (18/1), Alioski (50/1), Lisronagh Stone (80/1), Allsfineandandy (150/1), Kyllachy Castle (200/1), Grenadier Guard (250/1)
A tongue tie may help EDINBURGH CASTLE's finishing effort and he is marginally preferred to Percy's Word, who sets the standard but is proving very expensive to follow. Sir Canford is fit from the Flat and is another to consider.
