Course winner. Latest win at Ayr in July. 9/4, creditable second of 5 in handicap at Hamilton (8.3f, good to firm) 21 days ago, no match for winner.
Put it all together to rattle off a hat-trick at Lingfield over the winter but not in the same form in his 3 starts this season, starting slowly again latest. Others preferred.
Real success for Tim Easterby this year, landing hat-trick with bit in hand over C&D in May. Not in same form in some top-end handicaps since but return to this venue could suit, as could any rain.
Dual course winner last summer. Added to his good efforts here when second over C&D 3 weeks ago. Fair fourth at Ascot since. Needs considering back here.
Having a very good season, winning 3 times, including twice here (5.5f/this trip). Did well on the unfavoured side in Great St Wilfrid at Ripon last weekend but the draw hasn't been kind to him here.
Course winner at 2 but he took his losing run to 16 when down the field in Stewards' Cup consolation at Goodwood 3 weeks ago. Draw not ideal. Others more appealing.
Front-running course winner who dominated a small field at Haydock (7f, heavy) a fortnight ago. This definitely more competitive and he's likely to go well.
C&D winner. Back to his best to land useful 7f York handicap last month but he has turned in 4 below-par runs since. Back on a winning mark but others are still preferred.
Dual novice winner at Wolverhampton last term and good second first three outings this term, including a Royal Ascot handicap. Went off too hard back at Ascot since. Much respected.
Latest win at Redcar (1m) in June. Creditable efforts in defeat twice since (1m again) and this 3-y-o ought to be up to making his presence felt here.

FFION had an excuse for the sole blip of her career at Ascot last time and is taken to bounce straight back and gain a deserved first handicap success. It's hard to see Tom Dascombe's front-running course winner Fools Rush In not making a bold bid from a handy stall. Revich's fine course record also earns him a place on the shortlist.
