Low-mileage 4-y-o who produced his best effort yet when running on for second at Carlisle (5.8f) in July, nearest at the finish. A repeat gives him a shout in an open-looking handicap.
Successful 3 times during 2020 (including over C&D). Stepped up on reappearance effort when third at Thirsk (5f) in May but not scaled same heights in trio of starts since.
Regained winning thread at Thirsk (6f) in June and solid placed efforts on 4 of his 5 starts since, running on for second at Doncaster (6f) 2 weeks ago. Claims provided he avoids a slow start.
Back on song at second attempt following a wind op when fourth in big-field York handicap (6f) in June. Not disgraced in fourth at Catterick (6f) since and no forlorn hope down in class.
Fairly useful maiden who ran up to best when third in a Nottingham maiden (6f) in July, likely to have won had he stayed straight. Eased further 1 lb since and not ruled out.
Yet to find her best form this year, only fifth of 9 in Haydock handicap sporting first-time cheekpieces 4 weeks ago. Has shown signs of temperament though, and others more appealing.
Went close on 3 separate occasions for Mick Easterby as a 2-y-o but form tailed off last year and hard to draw much encouragement from last week's return/yard debut at Thirsk. Best watched.
6-time C&D winner the latest of them coming this time last year. Essentially struggled to find his form so far this campaign but his mark has eased considerably and not dismissed out of hand.

Forecasts
Cottam Lane (9/4), General Sago (4/1), Lady Nectar (5/1), Mutanaaseq (6/1), Wether Fell (6/1), Lezardrieux (7/1), True Mason (8/1), Mr Orange (11/1), Twist Of Hay (12/1), Vardon Flyer (14/1)
LADY NECTAR has essentially been in good form since her victory at Thirsk in the spring, not seen to best effect off a steady gallop/encoutering a troubled passage but still keeping on to good effect for third at Redcar last time. She gets the nod equipped with first-time cheekpieces, with Wether Fell and Mutanaaseq next best, whilst it would be foolish to discount Mr Orange from his lowly mark.
