Twenty runs since last win in 2019. Respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at Ripon (1m) 38 days ago, albeit finding less than looked likely. Eased in class now but others preferred for win purposes.
Lightly-raced maiden. 80/1, stepped up on reappearance effort when sixth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 10 days ago, making late headway. Return to further may help.
Latest win at Hamilton (8.3f) in July. Good third of 13 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good, 6/1) 17 days ago, making effort earlier than ideal. Should continue to give a good account.
11/1, ninth of 13 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f) 27 days ago, possibly in need of the run on the back of 9 months off. Entitled to be sharper now and worth noting if strong in betting.
Eleven runs since last win in 2020. Creditable second of 9 in handicap (13/2) at Redcar (8f, good) 15 days ago. Has fallen a long way in the weights and good showing anticipated under Ben Curtis.
Back to winning ways when making all over C&D in June. Solid runners-up efforts both starts since, latterly over 9f at Redcar in July, and foolish to rule out another good run.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2019. 16/1, eighth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f) 3 days ago, carrying head awkwardly 2f out. Still, likely good gallop here will suit if he can put it all together.
Winner at Wolverhampton in June. 7/1, unlucky not to finish closer when third of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 13 days ago, nearest at the finish having had worst of the draw. Interesting.
Remains a maiden after 19 Flat runs. Eighth of 10 in handicap (150/1) at this course (9.9f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Transition (5/2), Antagonize (3/1), Bankawi (4/1), Motarajel (5/1), Liam's Lass (14/1), Club Wexford (14/1), Inexplicable (16/1), Bluetech (25/1), Gloryella (100/1)
This looks likely to be run at a sound pace and with that in mind it may pay to take a chance on INEXPLICABLE. He looked unlucky not to finish closer when third at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 2 weeks ago and come out on top if getting the breaks this time. Antagonize and June-C&D winner Bankawi feared most, ahead of Transition.
