Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: T Hamilton| T: T J FitzGerald

150/1

33/1, twelfth of 13 in minor event at Newcastle (6f) on debut 9 days ago, slowly away and always behind.

Form: 0

(5)

Mereside Angel¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: Connor Beasley| T: T D Barron

14/1

Gelded, 16/1, bit better when fourth of 10 in minor event at this C&D (good to firm) 15 days ago, not knocked about. Probably another for nurseries.

Form: 64

(7)

Mr Ginja Ninja

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: Cam Hardie| T: D Shaw

200/1

Foaled February 18. Coach House colt. Dam of little account out of useful 2-y-o 6f-7f winner Lily Again.

Form:

Nrgize

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: A Mullen| T: I Jardine

50/1

Foaled April 23. 14,000 gns foal, 6,000 gns yearling, Mukhadram gelding. Dam of little account, half-sister to useful 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Cappella Sansevero.

Form:

(2)

Runshaw Lane

Age: 2| Weight: 9-3| J: T Eaves| T: D Carroll

16/1

Foaled April 26. Mayson colt. Dam unraced. Yard had a newcomer (albeit a 3-y-o) win well last week, so worth a look.

Form:

(3)

Ballet Steps

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: D Tudhope| T: K A Ryan

5/4

Foaled April 8. Dabirsim filly. Dam 5f winner. Top yard can ready one and she's worth considering.

6/1

Thrice-raced filly. Second of 4 in minor event (13/8) at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Will probably need more to win a maiden like this.

15/2

17/2, respectable second of 9 in maiden at Pontefract (5f, good) 17 days ago. Has had a fair amount of chances but did look back on track behind a promising winning newcomer latest. Highly respected.

Forecasts

Ballet Steps (5/4), Bollin May (9/2), Crocodile Tears (6/1), Vieux Carre (15/2), Regal Rhapsody (10/1), Mereside Angel (14/1), Runshaw Lane (16/1), Makhan King (22/1), Nrgize (50/1), Bobby Dalton (150/1), Mr Ginja Ninja (200/1)

VIEUX CARRE looked back on track when chasing home a promising newcomer over this trip at Pontefract and could open her account here if in the same sort of form. Ballet Steps and Runshaw Lane are both interesting on paper first time up and the betting could be revealing.
