Respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm, 8/1) 19 days ago, slowly away. Merits consideration with in-form apprentice Harry Russell claiming 3 lb.
8/1, fifth of 6 in handicap at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Questions to answer at present.
4/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, sixth of 8 in handicap at this course (7.2f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Others make more appeal from a win point of view.
Twenty seven runs since last win in 2018. 3/1, creditable second of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Visor back on and should be in the mix once more.
C&D winner. 22/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at this course (5f, good to firm) 46 days ago. Visor back on. Percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Lightly-raced maiden. Fifth of 7 in minor event at Pontefract (6f, good, 33/1) 40 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time for this handicap debut and sizeable step forward required following a wind op.
Sixteen runs since last win in 2019. 14/1, below form eighth of 14 in handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, good to firm) 5 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Others preferred.
Latest win at Carlisle in June. 4/1, below form sixth of 12 in handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, good) 30 days ago. In good form prior to that and live each-way chance if able to bounce back.
Thrice-raced maiden. 16/1, second of 9 in maiden at Doncaster (6f, good) 42 days ago. Mark for this handicap debut looks fair and this 3-y-o is a must for the shortlist.
Lightly-raced maiden. 25/1 and hooded for 1st time, creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at this C&D (good) 12 days ago, not knocked about. Place possibilities.
Three-time C&D winner, but just 4 wins from 86 Flat runs overall. Last of 12 in C&D handicap (good, 28/1) 12 days ago and she's hard to warm to on the back of that display.

Forecasts
Bridgetown (9/4), Captain Jameson (5/1), Stallone (5/1), The Thin Blue Line (5/1), Iris Dancer (7/1), Fircombe Hall (11/1), Ballyare (12/1), After John (12/1), Tomily (14/1), Classy Al (33/1), Bannow (40/1), Jessie Allan (66/1)
There should be better to come from BRIDGETOWN, who gave the odds-on winner a real fright at Doncaster and this unexposed 3-y-o now ventures down the handicap route off what looks a feasible opening mark. Captain Jameson is holding his form well and shouldn't be far away, but he's on a long losing run and the selection may have more to fear from Ballyare and Iris Dancer.
