Consistent sort who arrives on a hat-trick after wins at Nottingham and under a penalty over C&D 7 days ago when making all. Not taken lightly in his current mood under 5 lb penalty.

Yet to really fire this year but he took a step forward when fifth of 14 in 1m handicap here 29 days ago. Effective at this shorter trip so no forlorn hope now off a slipping mark.

Dual 5f/6f scorer in summer of 2019 but not so good nowadays, respectable fifth of 7 in 6f handicap at Nottingham 43 days ago. Has work to do if he's to get back to winning ways.

Fair 6f winner in 2020 but he looked rusty after 8 months off when ninth of 11 in 6f handicap at Haydock 21 days ago. He should strip fitter now.

Forecasts

Dancinginthewoods (11/4), Yimou (3/1), Abate (7/2), Beyond Equal (5/1), Soar Above (8/1), Dewey Road (14/1), Green Power (22/1)

Verdict

DANCINGINTHEWOODS was right back on the top of his game when scoring over C&D last month and is fancied to go in again raised just 2 lb for that cosy victory. Beyond Equal wasn't seen to best effect last time so is feared most eased 1 lb in the weights, ahead of hat-trick seeking Abate.

  1. DANCINGINTHEWOODS
  2. BEYOND EQUAL
  3. ABATE
