Thrice-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, ninth of 13 in maiden at Fairyhouse (6f, good, 16/1) 24 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time for this handicap debut. Uphill task.
Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable third of 11 in maiden (14/1) at Navan (5.8f, good) 25 days ago. More needed on this handicap debut.
Lightly-raced maiden. 20/1, eighth of 9 in nursery at Galway (7f, good to firm) 4 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Promising sort. Sixth of 9 in minor event (33/1) at Naas (5.9f, good) 32 days ago, suited by increase in trip. May improve now pitched into a handicap.
Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, last of 7 in nursery at the Curragh (6f, good) 18 days ago. Others preferred.
Thrice-raced maiden. Ninth of 13 in maiden (25/1) at Fairyhouse (6f, soft) 68 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Makes handicap debut. Benevolent appears to be the stable first-string.
Thrice-raced maiden. 50/1, tenth of 13 in maiden at Fairyhouse (6f, good) 24 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Makes handicap debut. Not easy to make a case for.

Forecasts
Arch Enemy (4/1), Shinkansen (4/1), Benevolent (9/2), Mist Of The Deep (11/2), Hot Sunset (8/1), Princess Rajj (9/1), Walking On Clouds (10/1), Pepsiwithacap (14/1), Tommorah (16/1), Our Louise (25/1)
While this slight drop back in trip may not be entirely ideal, BENEVOLENT is appealing now making the switch to handicap company off what may prove to be a favourable opening mark. She stepped up on her previous efforts when sixth at Naas last month and is almost certainly capable of better. Shinkansen will be a threat if responding well to first-time blinkers and Hot Sunset also merits respect.
