Useful sprinter who was quickly back to form when a narrow third in a 17-runner Newmarket handicap last time and now drops into a slightly easier grade. Dependant on a strong pace, though.

As good as ever of late, winning 5f Redcar handicap before shaping well at Haydock and Newmarket. Back up in trip and well capable from this mark if things drop right.
Winner at Pontefract in April, but seemingly found out by a hefty rise when only second there 54 days ago. Needs to resume progress after a break.
Dual 6f winner in 2020 and has returned in good order this term, running on well when third at Haydock last time. Mark seems about right but cheekpieces could eke out some improvement.
Made winning debut in Cork maiden for Andrew Slattery and back on the up for new yard, third in a competitive 11-runner event at Ascot 22 days ago. Should give another good account.
Resumed winning ways with a career-best effort in 7-runner handicap at Chelmsford City but not in the same form at Newmarket 4 days later. Has left Mohamed Moubarak since. Turf record is uninspiring.
Two wins from his last 3 outings, taking his form to a new level when scoring at Ripon 26 days ago, well on top at the finish. No surprise if he pulls out a bit more still.
Beverley winner in June and runner-up on all 3 subsequent outings, including back at the same course 4 days ago. Longer trip should suit, so solid claims if this doesn't come too soon.

Forecasts
Popmaster (5/2), Ava Go Joe (5/2), Ascot Adventure (9/2), Dream Composer (9/2), Cooperation (13/2), Baba Reza (14/1), Bergerac (16/1), Prince Of Abington (16/1), Imperium Blue (18/1)
DREAM COMPOSER has a progressive profile for his current yard and, following a big effort at Royal Ascot, he's fancied to get his head back in front faced with a slightly easier assignment. It's a competitive event for the numbers though, with a case to be made for several of the others, most notably Popmaster and Imperium Blue.
- DREAM COMPOSER (FR)
- POPMASTER (IRE)
- IMPERIUM BLUE
