Promising individual. 9/2, third of 7 in minor event at Ayr (7.2f, good) on debut 22 days ago. Open to progress and should pick up a race before the season is out.
Once-raced maiden. Sixth of 7 in minor event at Ayr (6f, good to firm, 12/1) on debut 15 days ago, slowly away. Likely to do better with that run under his belt and now faced with a stiffer test.
Fair gelding. Fifth of 8 in nursery at Pontefract (6f, soft, 10/1) 21 days ago. Up in trip. Starting to look exposed and there's an air of vulnerability about him.
Once-raced maiden. Ninth of 10 in minor event at Haydock (7f, good, 28/1) on debut 26 days ago. Will need to leave that effort well behind if he's to make an impact here.
Foaled April 15. €50,000 yearling, £55,000 2-y-o, Goken colt. Closely related to French 1½m winner Kenwina. One of two interesting newcomers for leading yard and the market should be revealing.
Foaled April 24. 90,000 gns yearling. Brother to 3 winners, including useful 2-y-o 7f winner Juliet Capulet. Dam 6f winner. Like stablemate Gorak, he's one to note in the betting.
Promising type. 13/2, second of 10 in minor event at Salisbury (7f, soft) 16 days ago. Remains open to improvement and should make a bold bid to go one better here.
Once-raced maiden. Last of 7 in minor event (14/1) at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) on debut 54 days ago. Up in trip and now tried in a hood.
Promising sort. 9/1, fourth of 12 in maiden at Carlisle (6.9f, good) on debut 19 days ago, running on. Likely to improve with that experience to draw upon and she's high on the shortlist.
Once-raced maiden. 80/1, sixth of 9 in minor event at Newcastle (6f) on debut 33 days ago. Up in trip. Probably more of a long-term prospect.
Foaled January 3. €65,000 foal, £32,000 2-y-o. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to smart 1¼m-1½m winner Tanfeeth. Yard's newcomers usually come on for a run, but she's worth a look in the betting.

Forecasts
Sed Maarib (1/1), Alpine Lady (9/2), Bababobo (11/2), Golden Sands (15/2), Gorak (14/1), Dreadfort (22/1), One More Try (25/1), Edinson Kevani (25/1), Young Winston (28/1), Fergie Time (33/1), Little Emma Loulou (50/1), Miss Demeanour (80/1), Green Spark (150/1)
ALPINE LADY travelled nicely throughout the race when finishing a close fourth on debut at Carlisle and, bound to come on for that pipe-opener, she is an appealing alternative to likely favourite Sed Maarib. Bababobo's Ayr introduction was encouraging and he is best of the rest, though the Richard Fahey-trained newcomers, Gorak and One More Try, both need close attention in the betting.
- ALPINE LADY
- SED MAARIB (USA)
- BABABOBO (IRE)
