Sir Titan⁷^{(ex 4)}

Age: 7| Weight: 9-11| J: Ray Dawson⁽³⁾| T: A W Carroll| OR: 75| CD

2/1

Never saw another rival under good front-running ride from this apprentice in C&D handicap last week. Strong chance under penalty down in class if things can pan out favourably again.

Elmejor⁹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-8| J: K T O'Neill| T: J R Best| OR: 76| D

50/1

No form in 2 turf races last year and a heavy defeat at Kempton when last seen in March doesn't inspire confidence.

Form: 9262-80

(1)

King Of Tonga^p¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 9-4| J: Sean Kirrane⁽⁵⁾| T: D O'Meara| OR: 72| D

11/1

Not won for a while but had been running creditably before getting a poor draw at Chester last time.

Form: 028329

(2)

Hunni²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 9-4| J: Laura Pearson⁽⁵⁾| T: Tom Clover| OR: 72| D

8/1

Dual winner over this trip at Newmarket last year but has returned with a couple of heavy defeats this time around. Headgear taken off.

Form: 4614-65

(5)

Dourado¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 9-1| J: David Probert| T: P R Chamings| OR: 69| CD

11/4

Another fine run under David Probert at Windsor last time and good chance for this dual C&D winner to end his losing run.

Form: 528-033

(3)

Latent Heat¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 8-13| J: L Morris| T: A W Carroll| OR: 67| D

28/1

Dual winner last year but increasingly looking one to avoid nowadays, rearing and unseating his rider at the start at Brighton last time.

Form: 219-66U

(4)

Bonus^h¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 8-11| J: Rhys Clutterbuck⁽⁵⁾| T: J R Boyle| OR: 65| D

10/3

Back to winning ways in 7f Lingfield handicap in the mud last month, readily coming clear. 5 lb claimer now up to set-off some of his 9 lb rise and could go well again.

Form: 00-6621

(8)

Otago²³

Age: 4| Weight: 8-10| J: Charlie Bennett| T: J R Boyle| OR: 64

16/1

Yet to add to his 2-y-o win for Michael Bell but ran well at Brighton in May and not seen to best effect back there latest.

Form: 770-435

Forecasts

Sir Titan (2/1), Dourado (11/4), Bonus (10/3), Hunni (8/1), King Of Tonga (11/1), Otago (16/1), Latent Heat (28/1), Elmejor (50/1)

SIR TITAN made every yard a winning one under Ray Dawson in a class 4 here last week and is taken to strike again under a penalty. Dourado is a dual C&D winner who could end his long losing run soon and he looks the danger.
