Latest win at Wetherby in April. 25/1, thirteenth of 15 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Course winner so could bounce back.
C&D winner but only twelfth of 15 in handicap at Carlisle (7.8f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Needs a big step forward.
5/1, good second of 11 in handicap at Musselburgh (8f, good to firm) 7 days ago, despite not being ideally placed. Has to be taken seriously off 2 lb lower mark.
6/1, career best when winning 14-runner handicap at Newcastle (7.1f). Off 7 months. Can give another good account nudged up just 1 lb.
Winner at Southwell in February. 33/1, creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Musselburgh (8f, good to firm) 7 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and not ruled out.
C&D winner. Hooded when ninth of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 10 days ago, suffering very poor run. Usual cheekpieces back on now and he's worth considering.
Unreliable type but he posted career best when winning 9-runner handicap at Leicester (7f, good) 11 days ago. Needs to back it up now, though.
Winner at Redcar in April but only fair third of 5 in handicap (15/2) at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 31 days ago. Still lightly raced, so not written off.
Recorded his best effort when fourth of 7 in minor event (16/1) at Redcar (6f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Back up in trip for his handicap debut and no forlorn hope.

Forecasts
Prospect (11/4), Gweedore (16/5), Global Humor (9/2), Royal Advice (7/1), Chookie Dunedin (8/1), Daniel Deronda (9/1), Hajjam (10/1), Deny Knowledge (11/1), Tilsitt (16/1), Classy Al (50/1)
A case can be made for a few of these but the most persuasive one is for GWEEDORE who can race off a 2 lb lower mark than when an excellent Musselburgh second so is fancied to open his account for 2021. Global Humour can boast a C&D win and is a lot better than his latest ninth at Newcastle suggests so is next on the list, while Daniel Deronda can't be ruled out despite a seven-month absence.
- GWEEDORE
- GLOBAL HUMOR (USA)
- DANIEL DERONDA
