Snapped a 2-year losing run when seeing off 6 rivals at Newmarket (9f) in September. Testing ground probably found him out at Newbury (10f) final start and worth noting he's gone well fresh previously
Scored at York and Newbury last term and signed off with good second of 23 in November Handicap at Doncaster (1m4f). Not disgraced on AW return and clearly not 100% at York latest. Type to bounce back
Signed off last term with a narrow success off this mark at Chester (10.3f) and better for opening pair of efforts this term when second at Newmarket (10f) 8 days ago. This does look deeper, though.
2019 John Smith's Cup winner who, having fallen plenty in the weights, duly capitalised to score at Haydock (10f) last month, holding subsequent winner Chichester by 1 length. Can go well again.
Had gone winless since Newbury debut success in 2019 yet, equipped with first-time blinkers, he gained race in stewards' room at Doncaster 4 weeks ago having been bumped late on. May build on that now
Low-mileage 4-y-o who proved upwardly mobile for Peter Charalambous this spring, winning twice on AW prior to losing race in stewards' room at Windsor (10f) in April. Likely more to come for new yard.
Has returned an improved model in 2021, readily gaining third victory in 1m2f Ayr handicap in May. Arguably did too much too soon at Epsom (10f) 4 weeks ago and no surprise to see him bounce back.
Useful sort who scored twice as a 3-y-o and improved again in defeat this term, finding only one too good in Zetland Gold Cup (10f) on latest start. Up further 2 lb but he's one for the shortlist.
Applied himself well under a positive ride to double career tally at Windsor (11.5f) in April. Dispelled a lesser effort at York when midfield at first named venue since but others make more appeal.
Built up an impressive record at Windsor, scoring 3 times at 10f. Running with credit in recent weeks, close-up fifth in 7-runner handicap back there latest. However, this is a tougher assignment
Landed a York novice event during a busy 2-y-o campaign back in 2019. Winless since but plenty of good efforts to his name, placed in handicaps here/Windsor of late. Mark has crept back up, though.

Forecasts
Makram (3/1), Classical Wave (4/1), Sword Beach (7/1), Luigi Vampa (15/2), Pivoine (8/1), Dream With Me (11/1), Water's Edge (12/1), Rhythmic Intent (14/1), Man Of The Night (14/1), Breath Caught (22/1), Restorer (25/1)
A good quality handicap with several holding claims including MAKRAM. He's shaped with plenty of promise so far this term, finding only one too good in the Zetland Gold Cup on his latest start in May. There may well be more to come and he can go well under James Doyle. Pivoine defeated subsequent Carlisle Bell winner Chichester at Haydock in June and along with Classical Wave heads the dangers.
