Most reliable and scored at Hexham (20.1f) early last month. Found further improvement under a change of tactics to win again over that C&D 7 days ago and looks sure to go well again under a penalty.
More reliable than progressive over hurdles, going though the race as if still in top form for long way when third at Market Rasen (23.1f, good, 11/2) 23 days ago. Leading claims back down in trip.
Fairly useful on the Flat and has shown an aptitude for hurdling. Added to the tally on the level last month at Doncaster but was below form after 6 weeks off at Goodwood since. More needed.
Mark in freefall and took another step back in the right direction when fourth at Hexham just over 3 weeks ago, finishing with running left after outpaced end of back straight. Player back up in trip.
Winner of 2m Plumpton maiden hurdle in January and having dropped over a stone in the weights since his handicap debut, got back on track when winning at Fontwell earlier this month. Each-way claims.
Fair hurdler who nicked a jumpers bumper from the front at Newcastle earlier in the year. However. well held back in this sphere the last twice and he needs to bounce back.
Dual course winner who scored at Market Rasen in April and defied a 5 lb rise in a higher grade to score at this course (25.4f, good) 27 days ago. Respected in hat-trick bid.
Dual 2m4f winner this spring who has continued in good form, fourth of 11 in handicap over C&D (good) 27 days ago. Not dismissed.

Forecasts
First Account (10/3), Sheriff Garrett (5/1), Tico Times (11/2), The Steward (6/1), Oksana (7/1), Shetland Bus (10/1), Ship Of The Fen (11/1), River Frost (11/1), Khan (12/1)
Tough to rule out any of these but it could pay to take a chance on RIVER FROST, who took another step back in the right direction from his tumbling mark when finishing a staying-on fourth at Hexham last time and this step back up in trip can give Ben Haslam's charge a first win in this sphere since 2017. Sheriff Garrett is feared most in his current mood, ahead of Shetland Bus and Khan.
- RIVER FROST
- SHERIFF GARRETT (IRE)
- SHETLAND BUS (GER)
