Took his form up a notch in first-time blinkers when landing Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in September. Goes well on softer than good. Shouldn't be underestimated despite 7 months off the track.
It's now 17 runs since last win in 2019, and he was down the field in a Chester handicap last month. Hard to fancy.
Didn't need to be anywhere near his best to make a winning start for this yard on AW in France in December. Performed no more than respectably this year, including sixth of 12 at Newbury latest.
Improved on recent efforts to win 7f handicap at Thirsk (heavy) in May but not in the same form when fifth at Chester since.
Progressive handicapper last autumn, winning 3 times at up to 1m (good/good to soft). Shaped as if needing the run when fifth on Sandown return. Should be spot on now.
Heavy-ground winner last year. Not disgraced on Haydock return but has run poorly twice since. Tongue strap worn last time is quickly discarded.
Kept really busy this spring, resuming winning ways narrowly at Newmarket (1m) in April. Exploits have been mixed since, fading into sixth at Epsom on latest.
Dual winner in 2020 and ran his best race of the current campaign when second of 5 at Newbury (1m, good to firm) 16 days ago, leading for a long way. This former C&D scorer should be thereabouts.
Won 4 times on going softer than good last year and got her head back in front in a Lingfield turf claimer last month. Faces a stiff task from 8 lb out of weights back in handicap, though.

Epic Endeavour (3/1), Majestic Dawn (18/5), Vintager (9/2), Overwrite (5/1), Gin Palace (11/2), Another Batt (13/2), Ebury (14/1), Mustarrid (28/1), Song of The Isles (40/1), Mission Boy (50/1)
EPIC ENDEAVOUR shaped as if he probably needed the run on his Sandown return and is taken to resume his progression now. Cambridgeshire-winner Majestic Dawn has a fine record on going softer than good and can give the selection most to do ahead of recent Newbury runner-up Gin Palace.
